To unlock a part (Body, Wheels, Glider)
# Unlocking Criteria
A random kart part will be unlocked.
- Certain total of coins collected from every race in Grand Prix. Parts are appeared per 50 coins (until 150 coins), per 100 coins (after 200 coins until 1000 coins), per 200 coins (after 1000 coins until 2000 coins), 2000 and later in one of 500 coins（ends at 5000 coins）.
- If a Mii who came by the StreetPass has a not available parts, you win the the Grand Prix so that you can get the parts.
- Unlocking "Ghastly Glider" is to collect 5000 coins.
# Gold Parts
- Gold Kart
- Unlocked by obtaining 10000VR, or by collecting 20000 coins
- Gold Wheels
- Unlocked by obtaining a minimum of one star ranking in all cups of every engine class
- Gold Glider
- By making 100 StreetPass connections, or by collecting 10000 coins
